Seven Strange Stories by Oliver Ho (cover artwork by Rina Rozsas)
Here is yet one more collection of stories that I had the honor and pleasure of being a part of over the past year.
Seven Strange Stories is a book of stories based on Chinese Mythology, set in various times, written by my friend Oliver Ho. Oliver is a fellow creative I met through Ty Templeton’s Comic Book Boot Camp back in around 2010. A prolific and tremendous talent, he shares a love of comics that I do, except mainly from the writing aspect. And this book is definitely a top notch showcase for his skills.
Along with myself, Rina Rozsas, B.C. Holmes, Brice Hall and Tuhin Giri (all CBBC alum) contributed art duties to this collection(Rina also provided cover art and Victor Chan handled production of the book), with all of us putting our best foot forward to visually represent Oliver’s writing anthology endeavour. It was a blast to work on, and I think definitely showcases some of my best sequential work to date.
Follow this link to see more about the book, and be sure to pick up a copy for yourself through the site. You won’t regret it. 🙂
